Valentine's Day. A day to celebrate love... why can't everyday evoke this kind of celebration? I hope everyone has a chance to spend tonight sharing their love with someone special. Tonight holds a deep significance for me and in a few short hours the fireworks are going to ignite.
No. No BBC for me tonight. This is one of those rare occasions when my thoughts of Black men have to go on the back burner.
Tonight, my hubby and I are celebrating our 20th Valentine's Day together. Not only is that pretty damn special in it's own right, but it is also the night that he asked me to marry him and I readily accepted. Since then, we've shared an incredible life together. Through highs and lows, we've always remained best friends, partners and soulmates... always very much in love.
Ralph, you will always be the one I laugh with, live for, dream with and love.
