I woke up this morning to the blare of my alarm and the sound of the radio announcer's voice excitedly talking about the terrific performance of the Black cocks last night. Am I missing something? Did I hear that right? Still only moments removed from dreamland, I heard it again... "Black cocks. Black cocks." Finally, the phrase "Chicago Blackhawks" struck me loud and clear and I realized the topic was the Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup. Disappointed that the topic wasn't something of more interest to a BBC slut, I turned off the radio, lay back and reminisced about the dozens of Chicago Black cocks I enjoyed on my travels last year. Yes, I think it is definitely time to start making plans for my return visit.
By the way... Congratulations to The Chicago Blackhawks for ending their Stanley Cup drought.

Happy Fathers Day
I'd like to wish the love of my life and father of my children a "Happy Fathers Day" Of course, I'm talking about my husband and soul-mate. Together we have raised three wonderful children and shared our love through good times and bad. I'd also like to extend my best wishes to all the Dads out there on their special day. Anyone can be a sperm donor but it takes love and commitment to earn the name "Daddy".
And before the rumours start flying, the pic is from late 1999 when I was pregnant with our youngest child.

I'm Back... Did Ya Miss Me?
My apologies for the abrupt and total manner in which I abandoned this blog for the last couple of months. As much as I'd love to be regaling you with tales of how I was whisked away to Jamaica and not allowed to leave until I had serviced every Black man on the island (yeah, like I'd leave), the truth is a lot more mundane. Like so many others out there, the global economic downturn hit too close to home for me to be able to indulge in my passion. As a result, it was much easier for me to walk away and focus my energies on bettering my family's situation. Sure, I had some time to work on my lifestyle pursuits but it would have been too unbearable for me to continue with my regular updates while being constantly reminded that I was missing out on a very important aspect of my life. Now that there's finally a light at the end of the tunnel, I can start to look ahead to the good times once again. I'll be tying up some loose ends both at home and in my Yahoo group for the rest of this month but starting in July, it'll be time to party my ass off... look for a major party announcement here SOON.
Updates will be sporadic but they will definitely come, so please stay tuned.

Happy Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day. A day to celebrate love... why can't everyday evoke this kind of celebration? I hope everyone has a chance to spend tonight sharing their love with someone special. Tonight holds a deep significance for me and in a few short hours the fireworks are going to ignite.
No. No BBC for me tonight. This is one of those rare occasions when my thoughts of Black men have to go on the back burner.
Tonight, my hubby and I are celebrating our 20th Valentine's Day together. Not only is that pretty damn special in it's own right, but it is also the night that he asked me to marry him and I readily accepted. Since then, we've shared an incredible life together. Through highs and lows, we've always remained best friends, partners and soulmates... always very much in love.
Ralph, you will always be the one I laugh with, live for, dream with and love.
Happy Valentine's Day, Sweetheart!

We Got By With A Little Help From Our Friends
It's no secret that I was REALLY looking forward to getting my ass to Detroit for a weekend of fun and excitement. Finally Friday came. We were preparing to leave when we were hit with a crisis... We suddenly had no sitter for our youngest son for Saturday.
No way! This can NOT happen. Not this weekend!
After a frantic 2-1/2 hour search, we had a replacement and were free to hit the road. Fortunately, the weatherman kept his promise and the roads were clear. The 2 hour drive to the border seemed to fly by. When we got to the customs check, there were only a few cars lined up ahead of us. We figured 20 minutes at the most and we'd be through. Not tonight. As soon as we pulled up to the kiosk, the guard told us that we were selected for a random search and had to pull over into the holding area. We've crossed the border a hundred times and been through this before. No biggie. It's only a half hour. But why tonight? Don't they know I have someplace to be 3 hours ago?
We were cleared to go and got back in the car. Click. Click. Why won't this damn thing start?! Half an hour with the doors open and the trunk popped for inspection was just enough to drain our battery. We got out and told the inspector that we needed a boost and he called the DOT. "It'll be 10-15 minutes". Great. We're now a good 4 hours late and still an hour away from our hotel. 15 minutes turned into 30. 30 quickly turned into 60 and still no help. It was almost as if Friday the 13th figured that if my birthday could come early, it could too.
Now I should point out that we had intended to spend Friday evening hanging out with one of the couples we party with. We've become very close over the past 2 years and don't get nearly as much time to spend with them as we'd like. Customs is a secured area and cell phones have to be turned off and left in the car. Our friends had no way of knowing how far behind we were until we finally got boosted and started down the highway and could call them. "Long story but see you in an hour". If only that were true.
15 miles into the last leg and my hubby notices the tach suddenly spike and drop back. 1 mile later, the car came to a rolling stop. Hubby got out and came back with bad news - there was a pool of transmission fluid under the car and we were stranded. I didn't know whether to laugh, scream or cry. This is not simply Friday he 13th coming early. This is bigger. God must be unimpressed with my blog. He's tired of good little Catholic girls going bad without any remorse and decided to teach me a lesson.
Another call to our friends. We're in trouble. Not sure how are we going to get to Detroit tonight. Without a second's hesitation, he had offered to drive up and get us. Skip ahead to 4:30am... 9 hours since we left home. The car is safe at a garage, our friend got us and our stuff to the hotel and the beds beckoned. What a night! We'll worry about the car on Sunday. Let's just do what we came to do and worry about the trip home when the time comes.
On Saturday, our friend once again came to the rescue by driving us on our errands and helping us get everything ready for the party. What a sweetheart. I ruined his Friday night and here he is giving up his Saturday to help me again. This party was actually going to go as planned. (More on the party itself in a few days.)
As the guests began to arrive, our worries faded into the background. Eventually one of the regular couples noticed our car wasn't parked out front as usual and asked what was up. As soon as they heard the story, they offered to get us back to our car and help with the repair when we were ready to leave on Sunday afternoon. What a generous offer and what a huge relief! I couldn't have asked for any better birthday present than this support from my friends.
After a well-deserved sleep-in, our friends arrived to take us back to the car. With our bags packed and tools on board, we headed out hoping that the problem wasn't too serious and that we could at least limp the car back to Canada. Fortunately, our bad luck seemed to be contained to Friday as all that was wrong was a blown hose clamp - simple to fix in the light of day but it sure was a big deal on the side of the interstate in the middle of the night. 9 bottles of fluid later, everything roared back to life. We climbed in for a test drive and when things seemed in order, we headed for Cracker Barrel for dinner before attempting the remainder of our trip. With our bellies full, we did a final peek under the car, said thank you and parted ways as we all headed home.
I had hoped that this would be a weekend to remember and it certainly was. You can write off Friday to just plain bad luck but you can't blame God for this one. If he did have a hate on for me, I sure wouldn't have have been blessed with friends like these. Rich, Christy, Thom and Danielle... thank you so much for everything you did for us. There's a tendency to make a distinction between 'lifestyle' friends and 'regular' friends but you have shown us that we are TRUE friends and for that I am truly grateful.
EDIT (02/11/2009):
Oops. I just realized that I forgot to actually post this to the blog. I told you that the weekend took it's toll on me. LOL

Things Are Heating Up This Weekend
After 2 weeks of bitter cold temperatures, it's almost as if Mother Nature has conceded to the idea that we're gonna make Detroit sizzle this weekend. Winter parties in this part of the country are ruled by the weather. If it's too cold or too snowy, people stay home... no matter how good the pussy is across town. But if the weather is nice, the guys come out in droves. This brief thaw could not have come at a better time. I've celebrated my last 5 birthdays with a gangbang in Detroit and it's always one of the highlights of my year. My pussy has been dripping all week in anticipation of what this weekend holds in store.
Looks like my birthday wish is going to cum true.
I'll tell you all about it when I get back home. Time for me to hit the road.
See you soon Detroit!

Party Reflections - A Disclaimer
It never fails. Immediately after every party, my IM and inbox are flooded with messages asking how it went. Unless you are one of the first few I answer, chances are all that I'll tell you is "I had a great time". Thankfully, I now have this blog where I can collect my thoughts and share my impressions of what happened without having to repeat it endlessly.
I hope you'll look forward to these candid peeks behind closed doors after each party but please give me a couple days to get them posted.
I don't intend for these reviews to be a blow-by-blow account of every last detail. I couldn't do that even if I wanted to; most of the time I'm being kept too busy to know what's going on across the room, let alone keep track of who's fucking me at any given moment. Consider them more of a reflection upon the evening... how many showed, what worked or didn't work and a few juicy details of personal highlights thrown in for good measure. When possible, I'll add a few pics as well. The idea is to paint a portrait of why this lifestyle is so intoxicating to me and in the process maybe encourage a few of you to join in on the fun.
It's rare that I share names or photos that show faces of other party guests. Sensitive party details are not something I discuss in depth with anyone who was not in attendance and things won't be any different on this blog. I have always believed that guarding the privacy and anonymity of my guests is a responsibility of any good host. This blog exists to reveal myself and my passion, not to out my friends... that decision rests solely with them.
Keep in mind, that like everything else on this blog, these are my opinions... not gospel. Every party starts with the host's most diligent efforts but once the guests begin to arrive, it takes on a life of it's own. Even with a 'Dream Team' in the room, it's the intangibles like chemistry that make or break it. If you hosted or attended a particular party and I don't give it a glowing review, please don't take offense... all it means is that I felt something was missing. I can't say I have ever been to a party where I didn't have a good time but occasionally things turn out below my expectations. If I'm going to be honest on this blog, it's important to share the good with the bad in order to see the whole spectrum.

January Blues
Here we are, less than 3 weeks into 2009, and I'm going stir-crazy.
Everytime I look out the door or at a news forecast, there's more #^$%@*& snow and there's no relief in sight. I mean literally... this lousy weather has already forced the cancellations of 2 hookups I had planned. Doesn't look like there's much BBC on my horizon until the Superbowl gangbang in Toronto. I hope the game goes into overtime because I haven't had any since New Year's Day and I've got a lot of pent up energy to burn off. Look out Toronto!
